- Q001 Where can I buy Sugino products?

APlease shop at Sugino Store (official online store) or purchase from our authorized sources.
- Q002 How and Where can I get your limited warranty support?

AWe offer a 1-year limited warranty covering manufacturer defects only to the original purchaser.
The warranty only applies to products you have purchased from Sugino Store or our authorized sources.
Please contact the point-of-purchase directly for warranty related questions.
If the product were purchased from our authorized sources, your warranty will be submitted to us through them.
Unfortunately, our warranty does not offer coverage on products that are bought or sold privately or that are purchased through non-authorized distributors/retailers and sites.
- Q003 Will Sugino chainwheels work with the Campy drivetrain?

AOur chainwheels have been tested and proven to be compatible with Shimano drivetrain but haven't been tested for compatiblity with Campy or other brands.
- Q004 What are the torque specifications for the crank bolts?

A40-50 N.m (400-500 kgf.cm)
*Please tighten the bolt using a regular wrench, don't use a torque wrench for the purpose of tightening bolts.
Use a torque wrench to check the torque on already tightened bolt.
- Q005 What are the torque specifications for the chainring bolts?

A14 N.m (steel bolts) or 6.9 N.m (alloy bolts).
*Please tighten the bolt using a regular wrench, don’t use a torque wrench for the purpose of tightening bolts.
Use a torque wrench to check the torque on already tightened bolt.
- Q006 Will SG75 cranks fit and give a good chainline on the Hatta NJS bottom bracket or Campy ISO bottom bracket?

AWe use a proprietery taper for SG75 Series. So, SG75 cranks must be used on SG75 BB Series.
If you put a wrong BB to SG75 cranks, it can ruin the crank taper.

- Q007 I have Sugino vintage cranks and need further information.

AWe can't give specific information on vintage models.
Also, replacement parts for such models are no longer available.
- Q008 My OX2 (or SG75DD2) non-driveside (left) crank has rattles. It seems like it has a loose material inside the crankarm. Is it normal to have rattles on crankarm?

AWe assume that the washers under the clamp bolts move and rattle around. So, the noise will be eliminated after the crank is installed.

- Q009 I will be in Japan and close enough to stop by your factory, do you offer factory tour?

AUnfortunately, we don't offer factory tour, as we do not have enough staffing to host visits or arrange for factory tours.
