Announcement for Trademark Infringements

It has been confirmed that the following products branded "New Albion" marketed by "Tokyo San-Esu" via "Interjet Inc." infringe on the trademark of Sugino Engineering Corporation registered in Japan.

Since around 2020, the products were sold at shops or via internet.
New　Albion　SC　Crankset with guard
New　Albion　XDD　Crankset
New　Albion　XDT　Crankset

These cranks bear our trademark (called "Crown S mark") around the pedal hole on the back, as shown in the photos below.
The "Crown S" is the trademark of Sugino registered in Japan under trademark registration No. 4709513.

We have no association with New Albion and absolutely nothing to do with their products regardless of presence or absence of our trademark.

Please contact the sellers, "Interjet Inc." or "Tokyo San-Esu", regarding the recall, warranty and authenticity of the products.
Also, the similar products are being sold on overseas websites, such as Merry Sales Co., Rivendell Bicycle Works. The act of importing these products into Japan for personal use is also deemed to be an infringement of trademark right and subject to the criminal punishment. We will take legal action against manufacturers and distribution channels of such infringements as soon as we identify the infringers.
